Our promise

You are treated by the specialist, every visit

Dr. Chaitanya K, MDS. She treats you herself

Why Tooth District

Dentistry built on trust, comfort and excellence

Every decision here, from the equipment to the technique, comes back to one thing: your dental health, looked after by someone who explains what she is doing and why.

Painless dentistry

Modern anaesthesia and gentle protocols keep the visit comfortable, and the most nervous patients are the ones we take the most time over. Nothing starts until you tell us the tooth is numb.

Strict sterilisation protocols

Every reusable instrument is autoclaved and pouched, and the pouch is opened at your chair rather than before. Single-use items stay single use. Ask to see how it works and someone will show you.

Explained in your own language

English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. Dr. Chaitanya speaks all five herself, so nothing is relayed through a receptionist and nobody nods along to a treatment plan they only half followed.

Saving the tooth before replacing it

Conservative dentistry is the speciality, which in plain terms means rebuilding your own tooth wherever it can still be rebuilt. An extraction and an implant are what we do when that is genuinely finished, not the first suggestion.

State of the art equipment

Digital X-ray, rotary endodontics, a dental operating microscope, an intraoral camera and a soft-tissue laser, all in the room rather than in a brochure. Ask to see any of it.

Family friendly

From toddlers to grandparents, we are set up to look after every member of the family in one place, on one afternoon if that is easier.

Questions & answers

What people ask before they come in

Hours, location, languages, cost and who does the treatment, answered plainly.

Where exactly is Tooth District in Koramangala?

We are at No 53, Ground floor, S.T Bed Layout, 1st Main Rd, New Friends Colony, 4th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560047, on Koramangala 1st Main Road just off 80 Feet Road, in S.T Bed Layout. Patients come to us from across Koramangala 4th and 5th Block, Ejipura, Jakkasandra, Adugodi, HSR Layout and BTM Layout, and regularly from Indiranagar, Domlur and HAL, which are ten to fifteen minutes away down 80 Feet Road or the Inner Ring Road.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 9:30 AM – 1 PM, 4 PM – 8 PM, and closed on Wednesday. Dental emergencies are seen outside these hours by appointment. Call +91 96064 71296 and describe what is happening.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Call or send a WhatsApp message to +91 96064 71296 first and we will give you a slot. If you are in pain, say so. We keep room for emergencies and would rather see you today than book you for next week.

Who will actually treat me?

Dr. Chaitanya K, BDS, MDS (Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics), is the lead dentist and treats patients herself. She was the university gold medalist in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in her BDS, then took her MDS in that same speciality, and has 9 years of clinical experience.

Will you tell me the cost before starting treatment?

Yes, always, and in writing. We do not publish figures on this website because the honest one depends on the material and on your own tooth: a zirconia crown and a metal-ceramic crown are the same appointment and not the same price, and a molar with four canals is not a front tooth with one. After the examination and the X-ray you get the exact amount for your case, with the alternatives priced alongside it, before anything begins. If a case turns out to be more complex than it first looked, we stop and tell you rather than adding it to the bill.

Do you treat children?

Yes, from first check-ups to fillings and extractions, and a paediatric specialist is involved in the cases that need one. Bring them along to your own appointment first if they are anxious. A visit where nothing happens except a ride in the chair and a look with a mirror is the cheapest way to stop a child being frightened of dentists for the next thirty years.

What happens at a first visit?

A full examination of every tooth, an X-ray where one is needed, and a straight explanation of what we found with the image in front of you. You leave knowing what needs doing, what it will cost, how many appointments it takes and what happens if you leave it. Treatment is not started at the first visit unless you are in pain and want it dealt with there and then.

Do you see emergencies on the same day?

Usually, yes. A swollen face, a jaw you cannot open properly, a knocked-out tooth or pain that kept you awake should be seen today rather than booked for next week, and we hold room in the day for exactly that. Call +91 96064 71296 and describe what is happening rather than booking the next free slot.

What languages do you speak at the clinic?

English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil, and Dr. Chaitanya K speaks all five of them herself, so nothing is relayed through a second person. Explaining a treatment properly is most of the job, and it is the follow-up question that decides whether a patient has really consented. People ask the follow-up question in their own language.

How do you sterilise your instruments?

Every reusable instrument is autoclaved, which is steam under pressure rather than a chemical wipe, then sealed in a pouch that is opened at your chair rather than before. The pouch carries an indicator strip that only changes colour if the cycle actually ran, so you can see it yourself. Needles, blades, suction tips, gloves and bibs are single use and are never reprocessed. The chair, the light handles and every switch touched during a procedure are disinfected between patients. If you would like to see how any of it works, ask at your appointment, because the sterilisation area is not hidden behind a door.

Is there parking?

Two-wheeler parking directly outside, and car parking on the main road. We are on the ground floor on Koramangala 1st Main Road, just off 80 Feet Road, so there are no stairs or lift to manage.

What do you do about nervous patients?

Tell us when you book. It changes how we plan the appointment: more time for the numbing, an explanation of each step before it happens, and a signal you can use to stop at any point. For longer surgical procedures we can discuss sedation options.
